A man with rare skin disease that makes his hands look like are tree roots has had surgery to remove the warts from one of them. Abul Bazadar's underwent a successful operation on his right hand February 20, 2016 at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
He may now gain some use of his hand after the complex procedure. Abul
is thought to be the fourth man in the world with the tree man illness,
a rare skin disorder caused by a virus named human papillomaviruses.
He
was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where Dr Samanta Lal
Sen, cief coordinator of National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery,
was helping to decide on Abul's treatment.
