The Game pleads not guilty to the assault of a police officer during a basketball game. The rapper was in court yesterday, where he
pleaded not guilty to punching a police officer during what was supposed
to be a friendly basketball game for charity. The incident,
as you may recall, took place back in March. It resulted in a felony
charge for making criminal threats, as well as a misdemeanor charge for
assault and battery.

punched, Onyebuchi Awaji, was in court last month and testified to the
fact that The Game threatened to kill him-- Awaji also filed a lawsuit against The Game, as we reported on, claiming the punch left him with a brain injury.
We'll keep you posted once the trial starts. The Game himself said that he could be facing three years in jail.
