The mother was charged over the death of her baby son who was
found dead on a couch while she was allegedly high on prescription
drugs. the 30 year-old Stephanie Amber Tillman now faces three counts of neglect
and three counts of child abuse in connection with the death of the
six-month-old son.
The infant was found motionless on the sofa of Tillman's filthy home on Christmas Eve, police said.
His mother was allegedly high on prescription drugs at the time. Authorities in Dallas, North Carolina have not yet released the name of the baby boy.
His two siblings, aged three and four, were also in the home, on Temple Lane, when Sheriff’s deputies arrived. Tillman's husband, Jerry Allen, reportedly raised the alarm at 11.45pm on Christmas Eve after returning home from work to find his son "unresponsive, naked and alone on the living room sofa", according to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
