Leonardo DiCaprio alleged to be repeatedly RAPED by a bear in his new film 'The Revenant'

Tough work: The scene is one of many difficult moments in the harrowing Western directed by Birdman Oscar-winner Alejandro Inarritu
Rumors began to swirl on Tuesday that Leonardo DiCaprio onscreen suffering reportedly reached new heights in his upcoming film The Revenant. In a scene early in the film, DiCaprio's character Hugh Glass is viciously attacked by a bear who according to a report then flips him over on his back and proceeds to molest him.  'He is raped - twice!' claims Drudge Report.

The site also adds that the 'bear flips Leo over and thrusts and thrusts during the explicit mauling.'
Two other individuals who have seen the film tell DailyMail.com that while the bear attacks DiCaprio's character there is indeed some thrusting.

But while it is an intense scene, they both say there does not appear to any incident of rape.
Fox, the studio behind the film, backed that up, saying in a statement; 'As anyone who has seen the movie can attest, the bear in the film is a female who attacks Hugh Glass because she feels he might be threatening her cubs.

'There is clearly no rape scene with a bear.'

Good news: Reviews of the film are embargoed, but many believe it will win five-time Oscar nominee DiCaprio his first Academy Award
It's getting closer: The film is based on a novel of the same name which tells the story of frontiersman Hugh Glass

Here it comes: Leonardo DiCaprio reportedly gets raped by a bear twice in his new film The Revenant according to Drudge Report
Basis: Glass was attacked by a bear in 1823 in South Dakota and nearly died, but it was a female bear protecting her two cubs
