Lamar Odom has reportedly taken his first steps since collapsing in a Nevada brothel in October. A source told TMZ that
the former basketball star, 36, shocked doctors at the Los Angeles
Hospital where he is stationed when he took three steps without the use
of his walker. The
news marks yet another significant step forward in his recovery, which
recently saw an improvement in his range of arm movement.
An insider previously told Entertainment Tonight: 'He forgets a lot of people's names, sometimes even his own. He definitely has some memory loss.'
The
star also had trouble recognising family members earlier in his
recovery, but as his condition continues to improve it is believed he
recognised a member of staff at the hospital, suggesting improved
cognitive function.
