Christina
Milian Opened up on her reality series Tuesday night that she was once
in an abusive relationship with a man who threatened to kill her. 'He
literally put a bullet in the gun and pointed it at my face,' she said
during an interview with a journalist that was shown on the E! show Christina Milian Turned Up.
'Staring
down the barrel of a gun is the scariest thing you could ever
experience. It's not funny, it's not for the movies. There's a chance of
life or death in one click, that's it.'
The singer, 34, revealed that she was 17, about to turn 18, when she began dating a 19-year-old guy, whom she does not name.
She moved in with him and the relationship turned ugly.
Christina
was also shown on Tuesday's episode reflecting on the experience while
talking with her mom Carmen about about getting involved in a publicity
campaign for the app Stop Attack.
'You had bruises and you were covering them up all the time,' Carmen remembered.
'I
remember he instilled that fear in you that if you left him he would
hurt us and because of that you stayed in it,' she said. 'But like to
the point where you know you almost lost your life.'
