Christina Milian reveals abusive past relationship, ex-boyfriend pointed a loaded gun at her

Opened up: Christina Milian revealed on her E! reality show that she had been in an abusive relationship when she was a teen and was a victim of domestic violence
Christina Milian Opened up on her reality series Tuesday night that she was once in an abusive relationship with a man who threatened to kill her. 'He literally put a bullet in the gun and pointed it at my face,' she said during an interview with a journalist that was shown on the E! show Christina Milian Turned Up.


'Staring down the barrel of a gun is the scariest thing you could ever experience. It's not funny, it's not for the movies. There's a chance of life or death in one click, that's it.'

The singer, 34, revealed that she was 17, about to turn 18, when she began dating a 19-year-old guy, whom she does not name.
She moved in with him and the relationship turned ugly.
Christina was also shown on Tuesday's episode reflecting on the experience while talking with her mom Carmen about about getting involved in a publicity campaign for the app Stop Attack.

'You had bruises and you were covering them up all the time,' Carmen remembered.
'I remember he instilled that fear in you that if you left him he would hurt us and because of that you stayed in it,' she said. 'But like to the point where you know you almost lost your life.'

Emotional: The 34-year-old became teary-eyed as she thought about the past



Naive: She said she was with a guy when she was just about turning 18 and he'd taken over control of her life




Overcome: Christina's mom Carmen broke down in tears as she described how she'd seen her daughter trying to cover up her  bruises and been unable to do anything about it
