Teen boy sent a message from unknown person which read ' kill yourself'

Autistic teen told to kill himself uses a selfie stick to film his daily torment

Ryan Wiggins, 14, from Hertfordshire, used a selfie stick and broken tripod to make a moving film about how he was physically and verbally abused by classmates who singled him out for being different. Diagnosed at the age of ten, Ryan says he tried to 'toughen up' but the bullying was often 'unbearable'. Pictured clockwise from top left: In the film Ryan wakes up in the morning, reluctant to face the day; he is seen breaking down in tears; he admits he hates his own reflection and he takes his daily medication. Inset, the abusive text message Ryan receives from an unknown number, saying: 'Kill yourself'.

Diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome at the age of ten, Ryan has been consistently bullied at school ever since he can remember, for being 'different'.
