52-year-old singer, whose divorce from the German supermodel was granted last October, told the Daily Telegraph: 'I don't know whether I'd call it a divorce record. And if it was is that such a bad thing?'. The father-of-four continued: 'It's a true record... I tried to capture something that was painful, deceitful, and truthful...' but insisted he is in a 'great place' after his
split with Heidi Klum.
Ever
the optimist, he says he is reluctant to call it a divorce album
after splitting from the mother of his children Henry, ten, Johan, nine,
and daughter Lou, six, as well as his adopted daughter Leni, 11.
However, when pushed on whether the album is influenced by his divorce, he replied: 'If it was is that such a bad thing?'
Seal, who was married to Heidi for seven years, also addressed his personal life since the couple split in 2012.
He has since gone on to romance James Packer's ex wife, Erica, 38, and tells the publication he's in a much better space.
He said:
'You look at my album from one perspective and you see the end of my relationship with my ex-wife. I look at it and I see an aggregate of all romance distilled into art,'
