Lady Gaga and Elton John 'honoured' to grace the cover of Billboard's philanthropy issue

Lady Gaga and Elton John have are both 'honoured' to grace the cover of Billboard's philanthropy issue. The magazine, which hits newsstands today, shines a light on the two singers and their charity work. In particular Lady Gaga discusses the work done by her Born This Way Foundation while Elton details the efforts of his Elton John AIDS Foundation. 

 

The picture is in black and white, with the headline underneath reading: "We can be heroes."

The two stars are evidently thrilled with the result as they both flocked to promote it on Instagram . 

Gaga gushed: "Thank u Billboard for putting me and daddy E on the cover together in the name of love for those in need. We really care and I learn so much from him every day."

While Elton added: "Honoured to be sharing the cover of Billboard's Philanthropy Issue with my soul daughter Gaga. @ladygaga @ejaf @billboard @paolakudacki #ShareTheLove."

Gaga and Elton are known to be close friends and have even shared the stage together in the past.
