Drake denies rumours he's set to to marry Serena Williams, after claims of the two love birds secret engagement

Rapper Drake, 28, and Serena Williams, 34, going public with their relationship, it seems some thought a trip down the aisle was on the cards.

However on Thursday, after OK Magazine had run a story saying the tennis pro had been proposed to, and the pair were set to tie the knot, a rep for the musician confirmed that the rumours of an engagement were 'completely untrue.'

Social media went into overdrive after it was suggested Drake had whisked his woman away on a romantic break to Toronto.

It is where the rapper is from, leading to some suggestion he had big plans for their getaway.

A source told the magazine he got down on bended knee and popped the question.

They said: 'She said yes but they want to keep it on the down-low for now.

Added the source: 'Now that [Drake] has her, he isn’t letting her go,' 

However the rep said that no such proposal took place and told MailOnline: The rumour is completely untrue.'
