Owner trying to sell off his $280k Lamborghini supercar smashes it into a tree during a test drive - with the prospective buyer in the passenger seat

‘It sounded like a motorcycle revving up,’ witness Rochelle Smith said

The car’s driver and owner lost control on a bend and crashed the luxury motor into a nearby tree – uprooting it - and badly damaging the right front, right wing and back of the V12 supercar. More photos after the cut..

It couldn’t have happened at a worse possible time because the car was being driven by the Lamborghini owner who was hoping to sell it at the time of the crash to a man who was a passenger in the vehicle.

The supercar is valued at $280,000, but instead of putting in an offer for the vehicle the passenger ended up being treated by paramedics for shock instead.

Both of the men were uninjured but were treated for shock at the scene.
