A mother has spoken of the incredible moment she pulled her son from
her own body during an extraordinary "maternally-assisted" caesarean birth .
Amazing
photographs show how Sarah Toyer delivered her fourth baby, son
Spencer, from her womb and personally welcomed him into the world.
She told The Mirror she had had three previous c-sections with her other children but wanted to feel more included in this birth .
"He was pretty easy to pull out," she said of the moment she gripped her child.
"(I) didn't have to put in much effort."

After her incredible birth, Sarah, now a mother-of-four, has
urged other mothers to "stick to your guns" and make sure they have the
type of birth they want.
"It was pretty incredible," she told The Mirror.
"Definitely an indescribable feeling.
"With having three previous c-sections, I wanted to feel more included with the birth.
"I
hadn't heard of a maternal assisted c-section birth but when I did some
more research into it I definitely knew that's what I wanted to do."
