
Tidal has shared today that Ye's ever-evolving album was streamed upwards of 250 million times within the first 10 days of its release. Around that same time, it was reported that the service's subscriber base doubled as a result of the album.
On top of those numbers, Tidal revealed (via Billboard) that they currently have a global subscriber base of 2.5 million, with about 45% of those opting for the High Fidelity account (which costs $19.99, double the price of a regular subscription).
With Tidal celebrating its one year anniversary under Jay Z and the gang's ownership, things aren't looking so bad going into the future, though they still have some catching up to do with Spotify and Apple Music.
