Report had it that Beyonce
was set to be writing & starring in a movie about
Saartjie Baartman, a South African woman who was displayed in London
freak shows during the 1800s and nicknamed "Hottentot Venus" because of
her large bottom and body shape. Well it turns out, this alleged story
happens to be another case of an internet troll job, because Bey’s reps
have quickly shut down the rumors.
According to Billboard, a rep for Beyonce says, "Beyoncé is in no way tied to this project. This is an important story that should be told, however."
