Nicki Minaj's brother in court after being charged with rape of a 12-year-old

Nicki Minaj's brother Jemani Maraj appeared in court for the first time on Wednesday for a preliminary hearing over the alleged rape of a 12-year-old. The 37-year-old arrived at the Nassau County courthouse in Mineola, New York with his mother Carol and lawyer Andrea Zellan on Wednesday for the hearing to schedule his upcoming trial. 

Maraj was charged with first-degree rape and first-degree sexual assault of a 12-year-old last week in Long Island. He is alleged to have had sex with the pre-teen on multiple ocassions. He was freed from Nassau County jail after his $100,000 was allegedly paid for by his famous sister.
