A
young female audience member had to be escorted out of the venue on
Wednesday evening after she momentarily frightened the talk-back titan
by throwing an object on stage. Oprah Winfrey was left
stunned after an she threw an object onto the stage during
her Melbourne An Evening With Oprah show.
She reduced many to tears as she dished out her self-help sound bites and awe-inspiring pearls of wisdom to a packed house at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena.
But it seemed Oprah Winfrey's 120 minute one-woman show proved just too much for one fan.
Shocked
members of the most middle-aged crowd took to Twitter to express their
surprise at the unexpectedly unruly behaviour with one user
saying: 'Someone just rushed the stage and threw something at Oprah!'
'OMFG
and a fan threw a parcel on stage and Oprah got really scared and then
after her mini panic and security removing the parcel,' another wrote.
Repeating
the queen of daytime television's reaction they went on to add: 'she
was like "surely with everything that's happening in the world right now
you wouldn't be stupid enough to throw a package on stage....."'
