Shocking footage shows child coughing after being encouraged to smoke cigarette by adults were laughing and cheering as they watch

Shocking footage has been released of the moment a little boy being made to smoke a cigarette as adults cheer him on. The video, taken in India, shows a child, believed to be around three to four-years old, sat on the knee of a man. As other adults spur him on, the man is then captured placing the cigarette in the youngster's mouth, and lights it up. 

The most shocking aspect of the video is that a child smoking appears to be some form of entertainment for those watching, who cheer and clap in the background.

The video was shared on YouTube by Tamil Nadu People's Forum for Tobacco Control, who have commented that they 'will be seeking legal action' over the incident.
