Nicki Minaj does not mince words – especially when it comes to Miley Cyrus.

It all started when Cyrus told the Times in late August that Minaj was "not too kind" in her tweets criticizing the MTV VMAs nominations, which resulted in a short-lived spat between Minaj and Taylor Swift.
Over one month later, Minaj has explained why she called out Cyrus after accepting the award for best hip-hop video at the VMAs.
Nicki said:
"The fact that you feel upset about me speaking on something that affects black women makes me feel like you have some big balls," Minaj told the magazine. "You're in videos with black men, and you're bringing out black women on your stages, but you don't want to know how black women feel about something that's so important?"

"They're men, grown-ass men. It's between them," she said. "I hate it. It doesn't make me feel good. You don't ever want to choose sides between people you love. It's ridiculous. I just want it to be over."
